Lade Arena is together with City Lade and Ladetorget, one of three shopping malls located on Lade, Trondheim. The shopping centre was opened during November 2007 and consists today of ten shops, one café and a gym, all divided on two floors.
In the beginning, the inhabitants of Lade were sceptical to the idea of once again increasing the number of shops, knowing this would lead to even more traffic on the passing road named Haakon VIIs gate. However, Lade Arena has spread happiness and satisfaction among compulsive exercisers, animal lovers, handy men and café enthusiasts.
