Karim Zenoud (born April 19, 1985), better known by his stage name Lacrim, sometimes stylized as LaCrim, is a French rapper of Algerian descent. After collaborations with various rap artists, he released his album Faites entrer Lacrim in May 2012 followed by a mixtape Toujours le même in December 2012. In 2014, he released his album Corleone with the debut single from the album being "Mon glock te mettra à genoux", a major hit in France.
Lacrim was born in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. When he was 5 years old his family moved to Chevilly-Larue. At 11 years old, his name got removed from the municipality schools list. That caused him to never step foot into a school ever again. A tumultuous life then started for Lacrim, being pretty much homeless he slept everywhere he could. Often he found himself sleeping in the streets. At 13 years old, Lacrim is placed under the control of a judge for children, which the follow up to its 17 years. to 14 years, it is sent to Chambéry as part of learning in the field of the restoration. referred to the end of four months, it returns three months later moved to Chambéry, where he will some time before returning to Chevilly Larue. to 16 years old, it between for the first time in prison, where he purge a first sentence of a year. Shortly after its release, it purge a second term of a year then a third of two years. to 20 years, it recognizes four years behind bars.
