HALO

Lacey's most current musical project to date is HALO. HALO has a mainstream sound compared to previous bands that Lacey has worked with, but still has a dark edge to it. (You can see the music video for her song, "The Stranger", by clicking here:

. Lacey started writing songs for HALO in 2011, immediately after she parted ways with Lords of Acid. HALO was supposed to be Lacey's solo project, but when she decided to play live, she hired musicians to perform with her, making it official band. HALO is Lacey's first project in which she was the sole writer for all music and lyrics. After Lacey completed writing the debut album, Lacey hired producer Anthony Mysliwiec, aka "Tadpole", (who has worked with bands such as Disturbed, Staind, and Avenged Sevenfold), as well as producer Marc Jordan (who has worked with Slash, The Cult, and Velvet Revolver, among others). Lacey self-released the debut album, entitled "Something Evil This Way Comes", on iTunes and on amazon.com in 2013. Nocturne

Lacey is the singer, writer, and founding member of industrial rock band Nocturne. Nocturne began in the late 90s out of Dallas, Texas. Nocturne toured the country multiple times with bands such as Mushroomhead, Dope, Pigface, Thrill Kill Kult, Genitorturers and King Diamond. (Nocturne also did several "one off" shows with Ministry.) The band also had support from rock radio stations, won several awards, and Lacey was even voted "Female Vocalist of the Year" twice by local Clearchannel rock radio station listeners. Nocturne signed a record deal with Triple X Records and released their debut album "Twilight" in 1999. The band then signed to Invisible Records / Underground Inc (the label run by Martin Atkins of Pigface fame), and later released the albums "Paradise Wasted" (in 2002) and "Guide To Extinction" (in 2005).

In 2008, Nocturne went on indefinite hiatus, due to the band members becoming involved in other projects. In 2007, on the Rock of Love reunion show, they performed their single "Shallow" from their album Guide to Extinction. They have also done a few shows in Southern California, but have not toured since the break.

Lords of Acid

Prior to HALO, Lacey joined Lords of Acid as their new front woman in 2010. Lords of Acid is a band that has been critically acclaimed within the electronic music and dance music communities. They have sold over 2.5 million albums over the course of their career. Lacey was asked to join the band for their first tour in eight years, taking over for former member Deborah Ostrega. Joined by Thrill Kill Kult on the "Sextreme Ball Tour", Lords of Acid, with new front woman Lacey, hit almost every major market in the country and consisted mostly of sold-out shows. Lacey parted ways with Lords of Acid in 2011 and began working on her own project, HALO.

Pigface

Lacey also was a guest vocalist for the band Pigface, the industrial "super group" that was formed by Martin Atkins. Pigface has a revolving door of members. Along with major icons such as Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails, Danny Carey from Tool, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ogre from Skinny Puppy, Paul Barker from Ministry, Wayne Static from Static X, and many others, Lacey also was an integral part of Pigface. She sang and toured with Pigface on two U.S. tours (the "United" tour in 2003, and the "Free For All" tour in 2005). Lacey also sang on the Pigface album, "Easy Listening".

Rock of Love with Bret Michaels

Lacey Conner was one of the primary cast members of Vh1's hit show Rock of Love'.

Lacey was brought back to the show in 2008, where she made a cameo appearance in the third episode of Rock of Love 2 . She was brought back again in 2009 for the third episode of Rock of Love Bus.

Charm School with Sharon Osbourne

After "Rock of Love", Lacey was cast as a primary character on Vh1's hit show "Charm School" with Sharon Osbourne, which also did very well in the ratings. Again, Lacey played the villain, and lasted to the very end of the season (appearing on every episode except for the very last one).

I Love Money, Season 3

Lacey was selected and participated as a contestant on VH1's I Love Money 3. Lacey was once again, a primary character on the show. The show was set to air in January 2010, but was cancelled by VH1 due to fellow cast member Ryan Jenkins' involvement in the murder of Jasmine Fiore.

Dog Rescue

Lacey has always been an outspoken advocate of animal rights and environmentalism. In the spring of 2007, she created her own rescue organization, "Heroes K9 Rescue". Through Heroes K9 Rescue, Lacey rescues, fosters, and finds permanent homes for dogs and a handful of cats that otherwise would have been put down at Los Angeles' city animal shelters. To date, Lacey has rescued over 100 animals. In addition to her work in rescue, she has publicly spoken out against puppy mills, she encourages spaying and neutering to help curb pet overpopulation, and she even spoke at a press conference at the California State Capitol, alongside California State Senator Dean Florez, in favor of passing mandatory spay/neuter laws for the state of California.

Animal Rights

Lacey has been a huge advocate of animals since she was a young child. As an adult, she became an animal rights activist. Lacey often attends protests against corporations and entities such as the circus, rodeos, puppy mills, SeaWorld, factory farms, the fur industry, etc., that contribute to the cruelty and suffering of animals. She also fights for legislation in favor of animal welfare, she signs petitions, makes phone calls, and does whatever she is able to do to help end animal cruelty. Lacey herself does not wear fur or leather, she does not eat pork, beef, or poultry, and she often posts on social media outlets in an effort to educate others about ways to help end animal cruelty.

Human Rights and Equality

Lacey is a supporter of many human rights groups, including those that fight against genocide, as well as those that help bring food and basic needs to the world's most impoverished children and families. Lacey also is an advocate of the LGBT community, and has not only marched at Gay Pride parades, but has also performed at them as well. On her Facebook page, Lacey is quoted as saying, "I am pro-equality for all. All people, regardless of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation, are all deserving of the same rights, and to live life the way they choose, provided that it is not harming another. Furthermore, I believe that animals have certain rights: the right to exist peacefully, as nature would have intended; the right to physical and mental wellbeing; and the right to exist without being harmed or exploited by humans."

Spokesperson

In early January 2009, Lacey became a spokesmodel for Dean Guitars, and hosted a webcast live from NAMM (the National Association of Music Merchandisers). The webcast was viewed by thousands of people, and because of the positive response, Lacey was asked to come back the next year to the host the webcast for Dean Guitars once again.

Personal Life

Lacey was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, where she lived until the age of 27. At that point in time, she moved to Los Angeles to further her career in the entertainment industry. On October 5, 2013, Lacey married musician/actor Jonny Sculls. They have no children, but instead have four dogs: 3 Great Danes and a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix that was adopted from the ASPCA.
