The hour of Maria and the golden bird is an argentine film premiered on August 28, 1975. It was filmed with Eastmancolor in the city of Corrientes, Empedrado, Goya and Mercedes. Directed by Rodolfo Kuhn according to script by Eduardo Gudiño Kieffer. The film had the alternative title of the hour of the gold. It is about a young peasant woman with her son who is a prisoner of the golden bird.
