While LP is referred to as “The sickest young boy North of the Border” representing Jamestown—one of the Toronto's most reputable hoods, his Latino heritage traces to his South American roots in the country of El Salvador. His name was coined after his older brother who was nicknamed “Pun”—this relation influenced others to call him “Little Pun”, which in effect, led his alias to emerge into his present rap name which is now LP Da Original.
