LC Singh is the Vice Chairman and CEO of Nihilent Technologies Ltd., a global integrated change management company headquartered at Pune, India. Singh founded Nihilent in the year 2000. Singh is an alumnus of the Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) ,Varanasi] and Harvard Business School, and has contributed significantly towards building the Indian IT brand worldwide. Singh performed key roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). At the time of leaving the company, he was the Senior Vice President, in charge of operations for UK, South Africa and the Middle East. He briefly worked with Zensar Technologies as President and CEO. He is the author of Nihilent's patented change management framework MC³ and 14Signals (a patented framework on Customer Loyalty Evaluation). He is an internationally internationally recognized thought leader on design & systems thinking, and is an invited speaker at global conferences on Design Thinking, Change Management, and Digital Disruption. Singh is a Fellow of The Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI) and Computer Society of India (CSI). He scripted and produced the movie Banaras, A mystic love story. He continues to be a student of ontology and epistemology

Early life and education

Singh was born in Bhatauli, Uttar Pradesh and after completing his primary education went on to complete his bachelor's degree from Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varnasi. Singh completed the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).

Career

After graduating from the IIT(BHU),Varanasi, Singh joined The State Bank of India and was soon elevated as a First Grade Officer. He also had a brief stint as a Consultant with Ministry of Finance, Tehran before joining Tata Consultancy Services. Singh joined TCS in 1981 as a consultant and was soon promoted to the position of Manager Marketing. He was then made responsible for UK, South Africa and Middle East operations. Singh headed all the product initiatives of the company and was also the custodian of the TCS brand worldwide. In 1996, Singh was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President. In 1998 Singh joined Zensar Technologies as President and CEO. As CEO, he was responsible for winning various clients and leading the restructuring and re-branding of the company. In 2000, Singh founded Nihilent Technologies, a global consulting and change management company operating worldwide. Under his leadership Nihilent continues consulting and addressing the digital transformation needs of enterprises in the emerging as well as mature markets. He made Nihilent certified as ISO 9001-2000 compliant, and in 48 months assessed at SEI CMMI® Level 5. Singh is the author of the change management structure MC3 TM, a patented framework for change management, performance management and strategy execution and 14SignalsTM, a patented framework of customer loyalty evaluation. Singh wrote and produced the film Banaras – A Mystic Love Story in 2006. He is the visionary behind Tumbhi.com, an online portal for artists and art lovers.
