Kukkuthakatte is a place located about 5 km from the city of Manipal in the state of Karnataka, India. It is a part of the Udupi District. "Kukkuthakatte" is a Tulu word which means a place with mangoes in abundance. Its attractions include the famous Amba Bhavani Temple and the Maha Lingeshwara Temple.
