Krasnogvardeysky District (Russian: Красногварде́йский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,800 square kilometers (1,100 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Pleshanovo. Population: 21,097 (2010 Census). The population of Pleshanovo accounts for 16.5% of the district's total population.
