Kosmoceras jason is an ammonite species from the Callovian (Middle Jurassic), lasting between 154 and 160 Ma.

Description
Kosmoceras jason has a shell that reaches a size of about 10 cm. These ammonites have a very compressed section and a narrow umbilicus on phragmocone. Ornamentation is fine and dense.
This species is characterized by sexual dimorphism, with macroconch (large shell) in females and microconch (small shell) in males.
