Kofoworola Bucknor-Akerele is a Nigerian politician and a former Deputy Governor of Lagos State. She was the Deputy Governor to Governor Bola Tinubu between 1999 and 2002.

Early life

She was born on 30 April 1939, and she went to CMS Girls School Lagos before she travelling in 1949 to Surrey in England for her Degree in Law.

Career

She got a diploma in Journalism in 1962, and work as a freelance journalist for BBC and VON Magazine.
