Pilot Program
Knowre launched a nationwide campaign with schools to pilot its online adaptive math program for Pre-Algebra and Algebra I in 2013. The pilot program offered schools exclusive features such as the Teacher Dashboard in addition to Knowre's state of the art assessment technology and adaptive curriculum. The Teacher Dashboard allows teachers to monitor student progress, assign personalized homework and see real-time data in the classroom. Furthermore, participant schools will receive a dedicated resource from the Knowre team for troubleshooting and technical support as well as the opportunity to directly impact the future development of the product.
An Engaging Learning Experience
Knowre is focused on creating a learning environment that is not only educational but engaging and fun for students. Knowre has an achievement system with coins, stars, and the ability to expand one's own math domain to incentivize students. Knowre's attractive graphics and illustrations also play a part in engaging students in a stimulating and enjoyable learning environment, while teachers assign materials to students through the Teacher's Dashboard, which in turn, is received by students in the form of quests and challenges.
A Personalized Curriculum
Math is a compounding activity that requires the skillful (and accurate) application of a complex matrix of concepts which build upon each other. For example, if a student were lacking a solid understanding of addition, subtraction and multiplication, he may not be able to perform long division very well. Now, if a student is having trouble with long division, for example, a teacher may want to figure out what is causing the student the problem, and "why" the student is getting the long division problem wrong. A teacher would normally ask a student to "show their work" and review the process by which the student solved the problem, through which a teacher may discover that the student is continuously making errors in his use of subtraction. As such, Knowre’s patented technology helps to break down math questions to its granular component concepts, and assess a student’s mastery and understanding of each concept as students solve math problems. The idea is to identify which concept or concepts are causing the student to answer the question incorrectly, so that the teacher can see where the student is getting stuck or having problems. As Knowre gathers such individual data, KnowRe's adaptive technology produces a personalized review curriculum, designed to home in on each student's areas of weakness and help build their mathematical knowledge and skills.
The Teacher Dashboard
Knowre's Teacher's Dashboard allows teachers to monitor student and classroom progress, assign personalized homework assignments and reviews, and see real-time data in the classroom. Knowre's Teacher Dashboard has both Student and Class data so that the teacher has the ability to survey the class with both a narrow and broad focus.

Awards and recognition
In 2012, Knowre was awarded the grand prize at Global K-Startup, a competition sponsored by Google, the Korean Internet & Security Agency, and the Korea Communications Commission. Knowre was called one of four “South Korean Startups to Watch.”
In May 2013, Knowre won first place in the GapApp Challenge sponsored by the New York City Department of Education.
