The Knipperdolings were an Anabaptist Christian denomination, named after Bernhard Knipperdolling.

Characteristics

Knipperdolings taught that the righteous before the day of Judgment should have a monarchy on earth and the wicked be destroyed

men are not justified by their faith in Christ

there is no original sin

infants ought not to be baptized

immersion is the only mode of baptism

every one has the authority to preach and administer the sacraments

men are not obliged to pay respect to magistrates

all things ought to be in common

that it is lawful to marry many wives.
