The Knipperdolings were an Anabaptist Christian denomination, named after Bernhard Knipperdolling.

  • Knipperdolings taught that the righteous before the day of Judgment should have a monarchy on earth and the wicked be destroyed

  • infants ought not to be baptized
  • immersion is the only mode of baptism

  • men are not obliged to pay respect to magistrates
  • all things ought to be in common
  • that it is lawful to marry many wives.
