Personal life
He was born to Laxmi and Vishnu who was a passionate Folk singer. He got married to Sandhya Nakti and has two sons Aditya Nakti and Atharva Nakti, both are prospecting good career in film and television industry.
Career
He started his career at the age of 19 as an Actor. Worked as associate director with Nishikant Sadaphule for Chand Ke Pare. Then he worked as Executive Producer for Crime Diary and Thenga. His work as an actor include the films Sidhdivinayak Mahima and Gotavala, also the Marathi Serials Songati, Apradhi Kon, Vachan Dile Tu Mala, Avaghachi Sansar, Kalat-Nakalat, Crime-Diary, Bajiroa Mastani and Laksh He has directed Dramas, Short Films and Serials too. Gardi, Aakraman, Prashna, Asta and Mazi May are the shortfilms, Sachin Ne Marli Century, Darveshi, Bhikmange, Aayla Game Chukala are few of his award winning One Act Plays, Cinderella the Upcoming Marathi movie will be his First movie as Film Director as well as Script Writer.
He has hosted the position of Vice President of Maharashtra Cine and Television Sena in 2010-2012. He has been playing Role of President for Aditya Pratishthan NGO since 2001 and for Abhinay Katta since 2011.
