Kingshott School is an Independent preparatory school in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England. The current acting headmaster is Mr Mark Seymour, and the school currently has 385 pupils aged three to thirteen. In each of the middle and senior parts of the school there are two classes each consisting of between 15 and 22 pupils. Kingshott School Trust Ltd is a registered company with a charitable status. The school is set on an 18 acre site which contains a small swimming pool and astro turf pitch containing tennis courts. The major sports are football, rugby and cricket.

The current fees range from £1,815 to £3,900 per term before extra charges, dependent on age.
Houses
In year three each pupil is placed into one of four houses. Pupils compete in many different inter-house competitions such as sports, music, debates and chess.
Lessons Taught
There is a broad curriculum taught at Kingshott including Latin, Maths, Science, French, English, Religious Studies, Design Technology, Art, History, Geography and Food Technology are taught in the classroom. Games and PE are also taught by staff. Other subjects taught include Greek and Spanish optionally to some age groups.
