Kim Tae-Young (born 8 November 1970) is a retired South Korean football player. He usually played as left or centre back.

He played for the South Korea national football team and was a participant at the 1998 FIFA World Cup and at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Part of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korean defensive trio alongside Hong Myung-Bo and Choi Jin-Cheul. Last, he was the assistant coach to Hong Myung-Bo in South Korea national football team during 2014 FIFA World Cup.
