The Kids In Need Foundation is an American national 501(c)(3) charity that provides free school supplies to teachers and students and grants to teachers to assist in the education of America's children.

Providing backpacks full of school supplies to students in the wake of a natural disaster to support them as they return to the classroom.
School Ready Supplies
Partnering with corporations and philanthropic organizations throughout the country to provide completely assembled school supply backpacks to students who otherwise would have to do without the basic tools for learning.
Teacher Grants
Funding certified preK-12 teachers to conduct innovative classroom projects. With generous support from the business community, the Foundation is proud to assist our most creative and important educational resource – our nation’s teachers.
Charity Navigator's 4-Star Charity Award
The Kids In Need Foundation has received Charity Navigator's 4-Star Charity Award for several years. According to Charity Navigator's website, a 4-star award shows that charity "[e]xceeds or meets industry standards and performs as well as or better than most charities in its Cause."
