Professional wrestling career

Krazy’s professional career has seen him go face to face with some of British Wrestling’s meanest and most respected legends like Drew McDonald, Skull Murphy, Klondyke Kate and Alan Kilby and has appeared on the same card as American superstars like Jim The Anvil Neidhart and Tracey Smothers.

Backyard wrestling

Krazy was a proponent of the backyard wrestling movement of the late 90’s having been involved in his own backyard wrestling federation ‘Extreme Craigneuk Wrestling’. Krazy became the poster child of backyard wrestling and featured part of promotion for Best of Backyard Wrestling DVD’s and Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This At Home as well as Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes The Neighbourhood videogames. Krazy was interviewed in Ice Magazine and Front Magazine as well as featuring in The Herald newspaper and various other publications. He founded the UK Backyard Wrestling Network.

Breaking in

Due to the lack of training facilities in the country at the time, Krazy would bombard the message boards of promotions and send mass amounts of email to promoters asking for an opportunity and was often ignored. Not to be dismayed, Krazy and his friends would invade the rings of touring wrestling troupe’s to garner attention for their own federation and used it as an opportunity to get in the ring. This would often result in security throwing them out the building or a riot ensuing with the promotions wrestlers.

Breaking in (Allstar/British Wrestling Federation)

At an Allstar wrestling event, one of the veteran wrestlers on the show called out Kid Krazy from the crowd telling the fans in attendance that Krazy had been eager to get into a wrestling ring and this would be his opportunity to lock horns with a real professional. Krazy climbed into the ring and tied up and became embroiled in a chain of wrestling manoeuvres which saw him reverse a wristlock into an armbar. The Allstar wrestler countered the lock, rolled out and flipped into a headspring to escape the hold. Krazy applauded the veteran, thanking him for the lesson and humbly sat back down. This would be Kid Krazy’s first taster of professional wrestling.

In 2001 at a British Wrestling Federation show, prior to the doors opening, Kid Krazy was approached by a member of the company requesting that he meet with the promoter. Krazy was escorted indoors to the hall where the ring was set up and wrestlers were warming up. Whilst BWF wrestlers Justin Starr and Andy Flyer warmed up, the promoter asked Krazy if he could wrestle and do what these guys do. Krazy responded that he could and was asked to get in the ring. Wrestling veteran Drew McDonald slammed Krazy off the top turnbuckle, suplexed him and clotheslined him to the canvas. The Promoter looked on and then discussed what he had just seen with Drew McDonald. The Promoter offered Kid Krazy the opportunity to join the BWF tour and train on the road. Kid Krazy would go on the road with BWF, help set up and dismantle the ring, learn the ropes of professional wrestling and receive tuition from the likes of Drew McDonald, Andy Flyer, Alan Kilby and others.

Debut

On 6 April 2001 Kid Krazy made his first appearance with WWF-GB in a 10 man battle royal in Elgin Town Hall as part of a WWE Tribute Show under his real name Frankie as it was advised by the promoter that he had no say in the creative control of his persona. The theme music played for his entrance was YMCA by the Village People. Krazy entered the ring by backflipping off the top turnbuckle, turning round to be super kicked over the top rope by Tribute Crash Holly, eliminating Kid Krazy from the contest. Subsequent Tribute shows on the tour would see Kid Krazy team with Tribute Crash Holly to take on Tribute Dudley Boys. Kid Krazy & Tribute Crash Holly V Tribute Justin Credible & Tribute Stone Cold Steve Austin and Krazy & Tribute Crash Holly V Tribute Chris Jericho & Tribute Steve Austin. In BWF Kid Krazy & Andy Flyer would team up in a series of 2 on 1 matches against Psycho Steve, Adam Angel & Justin Starr. In 10 man battle royals Krazy would face Klondyke Kate, Skull Murphy, Drew McDonald, Alan Kilby, Justin Starr, Adam Angel, Psycho Steve, Andy Flyer and The Chosen One.

On 16 April 2001 from Motherwell Civic Centre Kid Krazy would face The Chosen One in a debut exhibition match. The match was a straight wrestling contest and was determined a draw by double-count out as both wrestlers failed to get to their feet by count of 10.

British Wrestling Federation / Hart Foundation Tour

Kid Krazy would appear for the British Wrestling Federation again at Motherwell Civic Centre in September 2001 as part of the Hart Foundation Tour with Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart using the name ‘Kid Krazy’ for the first time in his professional career. His entrance music played was ‘Take It’ by Insane Clown Posse. Kid Krazy would face The Chosen One in a hardcore match. The Chosen One missed a splash from the top turnbuckle to the outside of the ring and landed through a table. Chosen One was then thrown back in the ring where Kid Krazy would deliver a 450 splash for the 3 count pinfall win.

Beyond Xtreme Wrestling

Kid Krazy appeared at Beyond Xtreme Wrestling’s debut Show on 23 March 2002 forming a stable with Mike Musso, Scully & Rob McKay called Team Anarchy. The group invaded the show. GBH cleared the ring but grabbed Kid Krazy and gorilla pressed him onto the other members of Team Anarchy. Later in the show during the GBH and Tim Strange match, Team Anarchy attacked GBH, rendering him unconscious. Kid Krazy would not return to BXW and Team Anarchy continued without him as an active member.

Worldwide Wrestling League

On Friday 3 March 2006, in Kirkcaldy, Kid Krazy appeared at Worldwide Wrestling League as Mike Musso’s mystery tag partner to replace Rob McKay and defend the tag titles. Krazy and Musso would lose the titles to Los Pervitos.

Insane Championship Wrestling

On 15 October 2006 Krazy invaded ICW at their debut show Fear & Loathing during a scheduled match of Rob McKay V Armageddon. Krazy was joined by Scully and the match was made to be a 4 way Glasgow Street Fight which included lighttubes, thumbtacks and a trashcan full of weapons. Armageddon would win the match and afterwards Drew McIntyre addressed the fans apologising for the brutality of the match.

Underground Pro Wrestling

On 12 December 2007 from Motherwell Civic Centre at UPW Coup de tat Kid Krazy & Bannilux Bulldog presenting themselves as ‘The Underground’ declared an open challenge which was answered by Magnus, Iceman & Invincible presenting themselves as the British Elite. The Chosen One announced he had authority to sanction matches as the commissioner and pitted Kid Krazy against Iceman in an extreme underground rules deathmatch and Bannilux Bulldog against Magnus for the UPW World Heavyweight Title. Krazy would lose to Iceman after a 30 minute deathmatch that included the use of light tubes, thumbtacks, tables, metal poles and a kitchen sink. Although clear that Iceman was the larger, more powerful wrestler who showed no mercy on the smaller Kid Krazy, after the match Iceman announced that he respected Krazy for getting in the ring with him and that he had to take his hat off to him as he was "one tough kid". A bloodied Kid Krazy rose to his feet without assistance to a standing ovation from the crowd.

On 29 July 2009 at UPW Commonwealth Championships also titled as Revolution of The Commonwealth from Kelvinhall International Sports Arena, Kid Krazy appeared with Dr.T.A Orji Executive Governor of Abia State in support of De Ultimate Commander who would face Mike Musso in the main event of the show. The show was part of celebrations of Nigeria’s 49th Anniversary of Independence and De Ultimate Commander went on to win the Commonwealth Championship. The show would end with De Ultimate Commander, Kid Krazy and Dr Orji leaving with the Commonwealth Championship.

Controversy

Due to Kid Krazy’s involvement in backyard wrestling and unscripted invasions of shows most promoters and wrestlers refuse to promote or wrestle him on the grounds that he is untrained and a nuisance. He has also been involved in feuds with most promoters in the UK.

Krazy was reported to have been romantically involved with Frontier Wrestling Alliance Commissioner Victoria and was also accused of being linked with the FWA bomb scare incident although Krazy blames fanatical supporters.

Kid Krazy was to appear on the Trisha Goddard Show that featured Iceman to talk about Backyard Wrestling but declined. When the show aired Trisha stated they had asked Kid Krazy to come on the show but he declined, ‘probably knowing what you would do to him’ talking about Iceman.

At Scottish Championship Wrestling Golden Harvest Kid Krazy invaded the ring after the promoter made comments towards him in the crowd. Krazy jumped in the ring and climbed the turnbuckle and when the promoter attempted to apprehend him moonsaulted over him. The SCW locker room emptied to subdue the antics and remove Krazy from the building and a brawl ensued. Steel chairs were thrown and Kid Krazy walked out of the building after SCW wrestlers were restrained. Kid Krazy was banned from all future SCW shows.

At a British Championship Wrestling training school in Rutherglen, Kid Krazy confronted the trainer after he threw out a wrestler from the school for being affiliated with Krazy’s entourage and a brawl ensued. The trainer attempted to hit Krazy with a steel pole but both were restrained. Punches were thrown and the trainer burst Krazy’s nose.

At the cancelled Glasgow concert of Insane Clown Posse's shang-ri la tour, juggalos partied in the street and Kid Krazy dived off the roof and was caught by other juggalos before being arrested. Krazy was released and made two further ICP dates in Manchester and Birmingham in the following days, joining ICP and other juggalos on stage at the end of each show.

After the tag match at W3L, a backstage altercation ensued between Los Pervitos and Krazy after Los Pervitos stated he didn’t belong in a wrestling ring. The argument became heated and the locker room needed to restrain all parties involved. Krazy claimed he did nothing but bump for lazy Pervitos and he put them over. The alteration ended when Los Pervitos accepted and ‘hugged’ it out. The locker room would become heated again a few moments later when other wrestlers made it clear they had sided with Los Pervitos claim and Krazy again would become centre of a brawl which was subdued by the Promoter.

At ICW Fear & Loathing at Maryhill Community Central Halls Krazy was booked as part of an ‘invasion’ angle and due to his reputation used the roof as his dressing room with his entourage to avoid mingling with other wrestlers. The promoter told Krazy to go ‘all out’ and after the match thanked Krazy for the best match of the evening. While Krazy was changing the Promoter denied any knowing of what was to go down during the match to security or that he had condoned it and subsequently ICW event staff told Krazy to leave the venue, Krazy was not paid for this appearance.

At British Championship Wrestling at Motherwell Civic Centre, Kid Krazy raised the fire alarm disrupting the show after gaining access to the building without a ticket. Krazy avoided security and BCW wrestlers and was subsequently banned from the venue. It was later reported that when Krazy ran his debut show at the venue representatives of BCW were responsible for trying to get the show cancelled.

At UPW Revolution of the Commonwealth at Kelvinhall International Sports Arena, Scottish Wrestling Alliance showed up at the interval confronting Kid Krazy demanding payment of £250 as a ‘tax’ for using the International Sports Arena which they had promoted the year before. Mike Musso & Worldwide Wrestling League who had been invited to wrestle and also supplied the ring for the evening demanded Krazy pay or they would refuse to wrestle the second half of the show. Krazy refused to be blackmailed by Mike Musso and the Scottish Wrestling Alliance and did not pay. As Mike Musso and Worldwide Wrestling League wrestlers were not to be paid until the stipulation of their contracts' had been fulfilled they had no choice but to wrestle the second half of the show.

When national publications covered the story of BWF leaving a trail of debt across the country, they also incorrectly reported Kid Krazy had retired due to internal bleeding after a bout in Motherwell.

In 2013, it was announced that Kid Krazy would be a trainer at glasgow based international wrestling club, SLAMschool.

Other media

Kid Krazy appeared on Jimmy Carr’s ‘Distraction’ on Channel 4. In the first round he had to answer questions whilst snapping a rubber band off his face as his buzzer. In round 2 he had to snap the rubber band off another contestants face as his buzzer. Krazy was eliminated in round 3 after failing to dress naked models in the quickest time. He was lifted onto the shoulders of the naked models as he exited the game.
