Khiramohana or Kheer Mohan (Bengali: ক্ষীরমোহন) is a creamish dessert popular in Odisha and West Bengal. It is made from chhena and syrup made of sugar. The descendant of kheer mohan probably was the rasgulla the food historians from Odisha suggest, that the Kheer Mohan was invented in Odisha to offer the goddess Lakshmi at Jagannath Temple, Puri.
