The college is recognized by the AICTE, New Delhi. The campus covers 12.6 acres (51,000 m2) of land excluding 13 acres (53,000 m2) of play ground.
The college offers seven streams of engineering undergraduate courses leading to the degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering and Structural Engineering (Civil).
The administration of the college is looked after by a governing council, headed by chairman Dr. Syed Shah Khusro Hussaini Saheb.
