Kewal Dhaliwal (born October 7, 1964) is an eminent Punjabi theatre director and president of Punjab Sangeet Natak Akademi Chandigarh.

Life

Kewal Dhaliwal was born in a village near Ajnala, Amritsar district, Punjab in the family of Shiv Singh and Mohinder Kaur.

Kewal Dhaliwal is a Punjabi Playwright and Theatre Director. He has been active in these fields for more than thirty five years. In 1978, he had joined the theatre group of Gursharan bhaji as an artist and worked there for ten years. In 1988, Kewal Dhaliwal joined National School of Drama and learned Theatrical skills there. Then he came to Amritsar and founded Punjabi Theatre Group Manch Rangmanch.
