In a career devoted to his “grow the whole person to grow the whole leader” approach to integrated leadership development, Kevin Cashman focuses on optimizing executive, team, and organizational performance, founding companies, Market Share Inc. and LeaderSource, and leadership programs, Executive to Leader Institute and Chief Executive Institute, in the process.

In all these roles, Cashman was responsible for training executives, professionals, and teams on a global scale.

During his time at LeaderSource, Cashman worked with leaders and teams from notable multinational corporations and brands such as 3M, American Express, Avery Dennison, Carlson Companies, General Mills, Novartis, Pillsbury, and Honeywell.

In April 2016, Cashman was presented with the Gardner W. Heidrick Lifetime Achievement Award from The Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) for his career-long efforts in leadership development.

Writing

Cashman has authored six books on leadership and career development, including the best-seller, Leadership from the Inside Out. In September 2012, he published The Pause Principle: Step Back to Lead Forward, which focuses on the paradox that pause powers purposeful performance.

Cashman was also a regular contributor to the Forbes blog entitled, “Consult Cashman: A Forum for Senior Leaders,” which engaged top-level executives on emerging leadership issues . In November 2012, he began contributing to a blog on Forbes, entitled, “Pause Point,” focusing on helping leaders to step back to sort through complexity and make more sound decisions.
