Kevin Brandow (born in New York) is a Christian musician and songwriter.

Brandow grew up in East Greenbush, New York. He went to Saint Rose College in Albany, New York, where he studied music theory. For a short time in the 1980s he was the lead guitarist for the Troy-based band "Tyrant".

In the late 1980s, Brandow formed his own Christian Heavy Metal band, "Divine Right." An early music video of Brandow from this period displays his guitar work and showmanship, available at

Brandow learned to play guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. He is also a singer.

Brandow was a member of Christian rock band Petra during the late 1990s.

Brandow joined Petra in 1997 as a keyboardist but he also played rhythm guitar in concerts pairing with lead guitarist Pete Orta. Brandow left the band in 1999 to pursue a solo career.

In 2000, Brandow briefly rejoined Petra after Pete Orta left the band. He filled the guitarist spot during tours until 2001 when he was replaced by Quinton Gibson.

Brandow has also released a solo album, and has also contributed in several projects in the CCM scene.

He currently is a member of the Schmooze, an Albany-based rock and cover band.
