Kentucky Route 356 (KY 356) is a 17.135-mile-long (27.576 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The highway connects mostly rural areas of Scott and Harrison counties with Cynthiana.

Scott County

KY 356 begins at an intersection with U.S. Route 25 (US 25; Cincinnati Road) south-southwest of Stonewall, within the northern part of Scott County. It winds its way in an easterly direction. It crosses over Elk Lick Branch and some railroad tracks of Norfolk Southern Railway. It curves to the southeast and intersects the northwestern terminus of Hinton–Sadieville Road. At this intersection, the highway turns left, to the northeast, and immediately enters Harrison County.

Harrison County

KY 356 winds its way to the north and curves to the east-northeast. It curves to the southeast and crosses over the Middle Fork Raven Creek. It then crosses over the South Fork Raven Creek. It curves to the south-southeast and crosses over the North Fork Twin Creek. The highway curves to the east-southeast and briefly parallels the South Fork Twin Creek before crossing the creek. It has a brief concurrency with KY 1842. It then intersects the northern terminus of KY 3018 (Mill Creek Road). After crossing over Mill Creek, it enters Cynthiana. It intersects US 27 (Cynthiana Bypass). It curves to the east-northeast and meets its eastern terminus, an intersection with KY 36 (Williamstown Road / West Pleasant Street) and KY 3016 (River Road).
