Kendomycin is an antitumor macrolide antibiotic first isolated from the bacteria Streptomyces violaceoruber. It has potent activity as an endothelin receptor antagonist and anti-osteoporosis agent. It also has strong cytotoxicity against various tumor cell lines.
Total synthesis
