Ken Martin is the current chairman of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, the Minnesota branch of the Democratic Party.

Martin began his career in politics as a high school volunteer for the campaign of Paul Wellstone. After receiving a degree in political science from the University of Kansas, Martin returned to Minnesota to work on a variety of campaigns. He worked on the Gore/Lieberman Campaign in 2000, the Buck Humphrey for secretary of state campaign in 2002, the Kerry/Edwards Campaign in 2004, and the Mike Hatch for governor campaign in 2006. In 2010, Martin served as executive director of WIN Minnesota, and managed the recount process for eventual governor Mark Dayton.

Martin was elected to serve as the DFL Party's chair in February 2011.
