Kel-Kin, as it was originally known, was founded by husband and wife team, Ken Kinsella and Liz Kelly who decided that it was their mission to make healthy foods easily available to Irish families. The company is named after their surnames and was founded in 1976. Kelkin was established as a company on February 10, 1977 (1977-02-10).
