Kavapoint is a leading developer of mobile iPhone applications. Kavapoint was founded in May 2009 to develop mobile applications. They are based in the San Francisco Bay Area with the mission to develop products that reduce stress and improve lives. Applications

Kavapoint focuses primarily on medical and health iPhone applications and have had a string of successes in this area.

  • June 2009 – Kavapoint introduced an "In case of emergency" (ICE) app called iEmergency+. It was the first In Case of Emergency app to reach the top 25 in the medical area. It reached #17 in the medical category on July 29, 2009. It has been listed as a top 10 useful iPhone app by masterofhealthadministration.com.
  • September, 2009 – Kavapoint introduced iEmergency PRO which became #58 on December 7, 2009.
  • November 2009 - Kavapoint introduced “Drugs & Medications” which rocketed to #1 by February 2010 and has been in the top 5 spot since that point. It has been listed as one of the top healthcare smartphone apps to get

    In addition to participating in fundraising, Kavapoint participates in micro-lending via Kiva and lends money to entrepreneurs around the world in hopes to lend to end poverty.
