Born on February 13, 1991, Katie Amis hails from Texas, United States. As of 2021, she is 29 years old. She graduated from Baylor University with a BFA degree in Theatre. After completing her Bachelor's degree, Katie moved to Los Angeles with a dream of making her career in the field of acting. In one of her interviews, Katie said that her mother inspired and supported her to become an actress.
Katie Amis made her acting debut in 2014 with an American short romance-drama film Lovin’ Chaos. She was seen as the protagonist Johnny McConnell’s sister Joanna McConnell in the film that was directed by Addie Doyle. Katie starred opposite Tommy Brown in the film. In 2015, Katie Amis shot to fame with the comedy flick Gluten Free America. She portrayed the role of Betty Sue in Marri Savinar’s TV series. Thanks to her phenomenal performance in the show, Katie managed to bag several film offers ever since.
