Kathleen E. Fick is a former major general in the Air National Guard.

Career

Fick joined the United States Air Force in 1976 and was assigned to Lackland Air Force Base. From 1977 to 1979, she was stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base in West Germany. Afterwards, she joined the 4th Tactical Fighter Wing.

In 1981, Fick transferred to the Missouri Air National Guard. She was assigned to the 110th Tactical Fighter Squadron and, later, the 131st Tactical Fighter Wing.

In 1995, Fick was stationed at The Pentagon as Air National Guard Advisor to the Assistant Chief of Staff of Intelligence of the Air Force. From 2004 to 2006, she served as Director of Space and Information Superiority of the Air National Guard.

In 2006, she was Chief of Staff of the Virginia Air National Guard. After serving as Assistant Adjutant General for Air of the Virginia Air National Guard, she assumed the same position with the Hawaii National Guard in 2007. That same year, she was named Director of Intelligence of the National Guard Bureau.

Awards she received during her career include the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, the Organizational Excellence Award, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Air Force Overseas Long Tour Service Ribbon, the Air Force Longevity Service Award, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal and the Air Force Training Ribbon.
