Kathleen Ann Corbet (born 1960) is an American businesswoman best known for her controversial Presidency of ratings giant Standard & Poor's 2004-2007.

Career
Ms. Corbet graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Marketing and Computer Science and received her M.B.A. in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the Board of Trustees of Boston College.
She served as President of Standard & Poor's, a subsidiary of McGraw-Hill Companies Inc. and a holding company of CRISIL Ltd. (Credit Rating Information Services of India Ltd.) from April 19, 2004 to August 30, 2007. She resigned on September 14, 2007 and replaced by MHP executive Deven Sharma. She is seen as one of the key 25 people responsible for 2008 economic crisis in the United States. In September 2013 TIME even made her one of the "Ten to remember...some of the actors in the meltdown drama", the others being Lew Ranieri, Phil Gramm, Greenspan, Christopher Cox, Hank Paulson, Jimmy Cayne, Dick Fuld, Joe Cassano, and Angelo Mozilo.
