Marosi has won 15 singles and 31 doubles titles on the ITF circuit in her career. On 8 May 2000, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 101. On 6 May 2013, she peaked at world number 33 in the doubles rankings.

Playing for Hungary at the Fed Cup, Marosi has a win–loss record of 15–13.

Early life

Mother is Ildiko (secretary); father is Sandor (gymnastics trainer); has one older brother (Peter). Introduced to tennis at age 6 by Antal and Eva Elekes in Budapest. All-court player; favorite surface is hard, favorite shot is forehand. Best memories include warming up her serve with Steffi Graf in 1996 Roland Garros juniors and winning her first ITF event. Admires Graf because she knows everything about tennis and was so good mentally. Favorite actors are Michelle Pfeiffer, Demi Moore; favorite singers are Céline Dion, Eric Clapton.
