Kasha is a rap artist and song writer from Charlton, London, UK. He is signed to and partial owner of a production group called Vivid Imagery. Kasha is a conscious rapper widely claimed for his positivity and honest stance on music. Tyrone under the name of Kasha first appeared on the music scene around the end of 2007 when he performed on Kiss 100, Choice FM and at various clubs around London.

Recorded work

Kasha's most famous piece of work is his London take on Jay Z's "Empire State of Mind", which was released in 2009. His remix went on to shift sixty thousand downloads and it features the German number 1 selling artist Iman. His other remix of Estelle's American Boy, aptly titled American girl was released in 2008 and shifted twenty thousand downloads.

Kasha's debut album is called the Oracle and was released in April 2009. Only one single was released from this album called Black Rhyme, which also marked Kasha's first music video. The video was shown on Sky TV The album features a special appearance from Frank Harper from Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. The Oracle also features The UK rapper Manage and us rapper Klarity.

In January 2010 Kasha completed his first mixtape called Retro Luv but to this day there is very little evidence and copies are hard to come by.

Live work

Kasha is a frequent performer and can often be found performing with bands and musicians. His album tour in 2009 had him performing at venues such as the Emirates Stadium, Scala, Cargo and the Islington Academy. He has supported the Sugababes, Artful Dodger and Samantha Ronson

Current status

Several concept tracks were scheduled for late 2010.
