Karl Neitzel (30 January 1901 – 13 November 1966) was a German U-boat commander in World War II and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (German: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.

As commander of U-510, Neitzel is credited with the sinking of three merchant ships totalling 14,128 gross register tons (GRT), damaging another two ships of 14,368 GRT that it had to be considered a total loss and damaging seven further ships of 49,587 GRT.
