Kari’s story is one of extreme hard work and intense passion. Originally from South Florida, Kari Kimmel moved to Los Angeles to pursue her love of music. Since then, she has done everything from writing, recording and co-producing her own music to placing her songs in over 650 film and tv shows and has also been named one of the top 50 artists on VH1.com.

Kari’s songs and voice have been featured in film and television shows such as: World War Z, Shall We Dance, Footloose, Pitch Perfect, Dreamgirls, Ella Enchanted, White Chicks, WALL-E, The Sims 3 & 4, The Office, The Young and the Restless, The Bold & The Beautiful, America’s Funniest Home Videos, Arrow, Smash, New Girl, Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, Grimm, NCIS, The Good Wife, Under The Dome, Justified, The DUFF, Pitch Perfect I and II, Intervention, and Southpaw to name a few. Her songs have also been used in promos and trailers for the films and TV shows House, 90210, Private Practice, Grey’s Anatomy, Nights in Rodanthe, The Walking Dead, Beautiful Creatures and Fortitude. Kari has had on camera performances singing on shows and films such as NCIS, The Middle, and the Al Pacino film “Imagined”. And she has sung backgrounds for some incredible artists she greatly respects over the past few years. Kari has sung with artists such as Ringo Starr, Dave Grohl, John Mayer, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell, and Keith Urban for “The Beatles Tribute” that aired on CBS. She also performed at “The 2014 Grammys” singing with Ringo Starr as well as the “Lifetime of Peace and Love” concert honoring Ringo. In addition to those performances, she sang with Bruce Springsteen for the 2015 MusicCares event, as well as Toby Keith and Willie Nelson, among others for a tribute concert honoring Waylon Jennings. Kari currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two kids.
