Karem Faride Achach Ramirez (born 25 February 1991 Merida, Yucatan) is a Mexacan synchronised swimmer. She is part of the Mexican delegation at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She competes in duet with Nuria Diosdado.

Life

He began her enthusiasm for sports as a child in Salvador Alvarado Stadium in Mérida. After trying various sports, she decided to train to become an synchronised swimmer. Her coaches are Adriana Loftus, Alberto Calderon and Anna Tarres. She studied Business Administration at Anahuac University.
Sports career
In the XXII Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz in 2014, she won gold medals in individual technical routine, free individual routine, technical routine, and free routine paired in couples with Nuria Diosdado; and free routines, technical and team free combination.
In the 2015 Pan American Games, held in Toronto, Achach and Diosdado obtained a silver medal, which was the first medal Mexico had won, in synchronized swimming in a Pan American Games, in 16 years. Both competed at the FINA World Championships in Kazan. They were in the 2016 French Open in synchronized swimming, where the duo won a bronze medal. She obtained her qualification to Rio 2016 with Nuria Diosdado in the pre-Olympic synchronized swimming in Rio de Janeiro in 2015.
