Dr. Cohen-Kashi is a plastic surgeon practicing in Great Neck, New York. Dr. Cohen-Kashi’s education began at Emory University, where he received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude. He then went on to earn his medical degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Cohen-Kashi completed his General Surgery residency at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, where he had surgical experience in the fields of Surgical Oncology, Surgical Critical Care, Vascular, and Trauma Surgery. He then went on to the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, where he obtained his training in Aesthetic, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery with additional subspecialty training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. Dr. Cohen-Kashi is certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Biography

He was born in Teheran, Iran. At the age of 6 his family escaped to Israel through Turkey (due to the Islamic revolution there). he grew up in Israel in a suburb of Tel Aviv in a town called Holon. He came to the US at the age of 17, where he went to New York Medical College. During his medical training, he went to a mission in Ecuador to help and work with cleft lip patients. He also received an academic appointment with Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine as an assistant professor in surgery.
