Kamala Kanta Dash (born in 1978) is an Indian journalist and a policy analyst in the areas of public policy,and international relations. He currently teaches Public Policy and International Relations at National Law University Odisha (NLUO) and Business communication at Sri Sri University.

Personal Life and Education

He studied at Ravenshaw College for his MA in Political Science & World Affairs and did his MPhil in International Relations & Area Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University and went on to pursue his PhD in Public Policy & South Asian Studies at Monash University in Australia. He is also a public policy graduate from Centre for Civil Society a Delhi based global think tank.

Career

He has also published numerous research papers, reviews and newspaper articles on areas pertaining to Public Policy, Indian Constitution, Law, Indian Foreign Policy, Terrorism, etc. and has delivered lectures at reputed international conferences. He is a founding member and senior editor at Odisha Diary and has contributed to conceptualization and popularity of its initiatives like Odisha Living Legend Award and Kalinga Literary Festival.

He was a founding member of the School of International Studies of Ravenshaw University.

He was a recipient of the Australian Studies Fellowships (ASF) for 2006-07 at the Australia India Council of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) during 2006-07.

Apart from academics, he has contributed to the areas of promoting media and literature in India especially in his native state of Odisha.

At international level he was appointed as one of the Ambassadors at the Parliament of World's Religions (PWR), Chicago., He has also worked for the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs as a Carnegie New Leader in 2013-15.
