Early life and Career

Aikat was born (25 August 1994) in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand (then, Bihar), where he spent the first seventeen years of his life. He then moved to Ranchi to complete his education.

He completed his schooling at DAV Public School, Hazaribagh, in 2011 and graduated in business management at the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra in 2014.

His first book Unsocial Amigos was published when he was 19 years old and studying B.B.A. Unsocial Amigos is a young adult romance fiction about live-in relationships. Then he wrote a short story called Life Isn't a Fairy tale which was published in the anthology The Unbreakable You by Write India Publishers in January 2015. It is about a bullied boy who suffers from epilepsy but eventually fights back to redeem himself. Reason to Live was published in October 2015, which is a romance fiction about a tormented and pessimistic author who falls in love to find his reason to live. The Cotton Seed is a short story published under the Tiny Tales series, released in January 2017. It's a fictional period drama, set in 17th century Bihar, on the theme of women empowerment. Soul Break Part 01 is the first installment in The Soul Break Duology under the Tiny Tales which is a fictional crime thriller short story about how a man ends up on his journey to avenge his wife's murder.

Aikat was initially a casual writer. But, when inspired by rise of authors like Chetan Bhagat, Amish etc. , he decided to take writing seriously. He idolizes Dan Brown, Khushwant Singh, Arundhati Roy and J. K. Rowling. When asked about writing, according to Aikat, one should focus on reading and writing better rather than focusing on getting published.
