Kagel Canyon is an unincorporated community in Los Angeles County, California, United States. Kagel Canyon is located in the southwest part of Angeles National Forest east of San Fernando. In 2000, Kagel Canyon and the neighboring Lopez Canyon area had a combined population of 697. The community lies in the foothills of the western San Gabriel Mountains near the San Fernando Valley.
