KYDA (101.7 FM) is a radio station based in the Fort Worth, Texas, area that plays Air 1 programming. The station is licensed to Azle, Texas, with a transmitter site located north of Decatur, Texas. It is currently owned by Educational Media Foundation, whom purchased this station from Liberman Broadcasting in early November 2012. Air1 is a contemporary hit radio (CHR) radio network in the United States, playing Contemporary Christian music.

Early beginnings
The callsign was first selected by Tony Rodriguez (son of Spanish Radio Pioneer Marcos Rodriguez, Sr.) and assigned to 104.9 FM in Pilot Point. Tony Rodriguez made the frequency famous in the early 1990s by being the first radio station in America to play all Beatles music. Tony later sold KTCY 104.9 to his brother Marcos A. Rodriguez.
Liberman Broadcasting, a Spanish-language media company, bought out some of Entravision's radio assets on August 4, 2006. Before KTCY-FM was bought by Liberman Broadcasting, the station played the same Spanish-language pop music but with different DJs and programming.
The Spanish AC era
On May 12, 2007, the station's branding name was changed from "Concierto 101.7" to the branding name "XO 101.7". Prior to "Concierto" name, the station used "SuperEstrella 101.7". The station continues to be operated by Liberman and with the same DJs and programming but under a new name. "Concierto 101.7"'s" solgan was "La música se escucha mejor, en Concierto! 101.7!" Now, the station's slogan is "La música romantica de tu generación, XO, 101 punto 7." However, since May 2008, the station's slogan has been "La música de tu generación" and "La música romantica de tu generación". Near the end of February in 2009, the XO's slogan changed to "Música romantica, todo el día". Furthermore, more ballads and love songs have been added to the playlist.
Return to Latin Pop
In early 2012, KTCY has shortly returned to Latin Pop and rebranded the station as "Baila 101.7" [Baila is Spanish for "Dance"]. It competed head-on with CBS Radio-owned KMVK Mega 107.5 and Univision Radio-owned KDXX Máxima 99.1. "Baila 101.7" previously broadcast music Sunday through Friday for a full 24 hours. However on Saturday, 7-10AM was reserved for Infomercials. The station ran jockless throughout its 1-year tenure.
101.7 Today
It was announced on November 5 that Educational Media Foundation, owner of Christian Contemporary K-LOVE and Christian Rock Air1, would expand to the Dallas/Fort Worth area by purchasing KTCY from Liberman for $6 million. As CBS-owned classic hits station KLUV 98.7 owns the "K-Love" branding in the Dallas/Fort Worth market, it is assumed that the station will be using the "Air1" satellite feed to avoid confusion. As of February 8, the station is off the air to make way for EMF's takeover. EMF reserved the KYDA call letters (now implemented as of late February 2013) for the current format that launched at 4 PM on February 12, 2013.
