History

It was established in 2001, offering Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA). Later, in 2005 and 2008 respectively, MSc Biotechnology and MBA programs were introduced. In 2012, the college started B. Tech. courses on Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering.

    The college is under K. Velayudhan Memorial (KVM) Trust, registered on 13 May 1987. It has also established colleges on Pharmacy, Nursing, Special Education and Paramedical Sciences.

    Campus

    The college campus is located in Kothamangalam and covers an area of 15 acres. It is 4 km away from Cherthala town, 8 km away from Cherthala Railway Station and about 70 km from Nedumbassery Airport. It also hosts library and hostel facilities. The campus is shared with KVM College of Pharmacy.
