KLIA Expressway, Federal Route 26, is the main expressway in Klang Valley, Malaysia. It connects KLIA Interchange of the North-South Expressway Central Link E6 to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The KLIA expressway has been a main gateway route to Malaysia from worldwide since the airport was opened on 27 June 1998. The total length of the expressway is 11.0 km (6.8 mi) (5.9 km (3.3 miles) on the PLUS Expressway sections and 5.9 km (3.7 mi) on the Malaysian Public Works Department and KLIA sections). During Formula One Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix championship every year it is a main route to Sepang F1 Circuit from Kuala Lumpur. There are two sections of the expressway the "Original Section (ELITE-KLIA)" and "KLIA 2 Section"
