Programming

KCJJ broadcasts a news/talk and comedy format plus sports and hot adult contemporary music. "The Mighty 1630" covers much of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. It is one of the few locally owned and operated stations in eastern Iowa.

The Morning Show is hosted by Captain Steve Bridges, Jim Hunter, and Tom Suter. Middays are handled by Tommy Lang, and Nights by Molly Suter. Local News is aired hourly and High School Sports are featured nightly. KCJJ is affiliated with CBS and CNN. KCJJ is a weather partner with KGAN, Cedar Rapids. The station also broadcasts the syndicated Lex and Terry Show, The Mike O'Meara Show, and NASCAR.

In March 2013, KCJJ launched an internet radio station: 99 Plus KFMH, playing rock, blues, and jazz. The original KFMH broadcast from 1973 until 1994. The original deejays returned, as well. It is available on the Tunein app, Simple Radio by Streema, and www.99pluskfmh.com.
