KCC Mall de Zamboanga is the third KCC Mall in the Philippines. It is owned by Koronadal Commercial Corporation (KCC) and their headquarters is situated in General Santos City. KCC Mall de Zamboanga is the biggest KCC Mall, and also the largest mall in Zamboanga City and in Zamboanga Peninsula. The mall is located along Gov. Carlos Camins Avenue, one of the busiest thoroughfares in the city. It has a land area of approximately 35,000 m2 and a total GFA of 120,000 m2.

History and location

The Koronadal Commercial Center, owner of KCC Malls in General Santos City (HQ) and Koronadal City, bought a 3.5-hectare lot at Governor Camins in early 2012. The groundbreaking was commenced on October 10, 2012, with the presence of Zamboanga City officials led by Mayor Beng Climaco The massive construction, starting with the deep excavation of lands to be used as two levels down from the ground floor, was started in November 2012.

The design structure of KCC Mall de Zamboanga is a three-leveled terrace-like structure (not included the two basement floors) since its location is few meters away from the runway of Zamboanga International Airport.

Mall Features

KCC Mall de Zamboanga has the biggest department store in Mindanao and one of the biggest supermarkets in the Philippines (with 83 check-out counters). It houses numerous 'first' stores of brands like Cotton On and Lacoste in the city, It also features six state-of-the-art cinemas, three of which are in 3D.

Burger King also opened its very first store in the Island of Mindanao on December 14, 2016 at this mall.

Mall Expansion

KCC Mall de Zamboanga expansion is currently under-construction. It will be called KCC East Wing and is set to open on February 2016.
