Personal life
K.G.Senthil Kumar was born in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, India to K.Govindaswamy and G.Amsavalli. He completed his schooling in St.Joseph Matriculation Higher Secondary School - Tirupur, Perks School - Coimbatore and Prema Matriculation Higher Secondary School - Tirupur. After his schooling he completed Diploma in Computer Technology in Nanjappa Institute of Technology - Karumathampatti, Coimbatore. Later he completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science in Kumaraguru College of Technology - Coimbatore. After his engineering graduation he worked as Software Engineer for Wipro Technologies in Bangalore and Chennai, coding software for Nike, Inc.. Since his father has to retire from business due to health reasons, upon his father's request he took up his family business of textile garment manufacturing and marketing in domestic and international markets. His father died on 23 December 2010 and his mother died on 26 November 2011.
Early life
K.G.Senthil Kumar has always wanted to be a Creator and Performer in the Film Industry since his childhood. He has learnt the art of Acting, Directing and Film Making in New York Film Academy (Los Angeles). He has worked in over 20 Short Films and Music Videos as Producer, Director, Actor, Assistant Director, Assistant Editor, Screenwriter and Dialogue Writer. Two of his short films namely Simplicity(2009) and Dew Drop(2010) has won the Award of Merit in American International Film Festival called "Accolade Competition".
After the demise of his parents, K.G.Senthil Kumar moved to Chennai - the tinsel town of Tamil Nadu in 2012 and tried his level best to get an offer for Acting and Directing, but in vain. So, he decided to Produce the film himself.
Career
In 2013, K.G.Senthil Kumar started the Pre-Production work of his debutant film "Vizhi Moodi Yosithaal" as Film Producer, Director, Actor and Screenwriter through his own Production Company Twister Films. The Shooting of the film was started on 2 March 2013 and was wrapped up by end of May 2013. It took him 7 months to complete the Post-Production work of the film and he got the Censor Certificate for the film from the Central Board of Film Certification on 27 December 2013. Being new to the film industry, casting newcomers, with unproven track record, he was unable to get screens to release the film. After going through enormous struggle and challenges he finally released the film on 21 November 2014 over 110 Screens all over Tamil Nadu. The film turned out to be a decent hit with good response and reviews from the audience and the critics.
