K. S. Sabarinadhan (കെ എസ് ശബരിനാഥൻ) is an Indian politician, engineer, and business executive of the Indian National Congress party. Since the 2015 elections, he has been elected Member of the Legislative Assembly (India) (M.L.A.) of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, representing the Aruvikkara constituency of the Thiruvananthapuram district in the state of Kerala. Sabarinadhan is the son of politician late G. Karthikeyan.

Personal life

Sabarinathan was born to late G Karthikeyan who was the former speaker of Kerala Legislative assembly & Dr.T.Sulekha. He is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from College of Engineering Trivandrum in 2005. He completed his MBA from MDI, Gurgaon in 2008. After that, he worked with the Tata Group in Mumbai for several years, eventually spending a few years working with the Tata Trusts in the areas of healthcare and nutrition.

After his father's death on 7 March 2015, he was forced by Kerala State Congress Committee to contest in the bye elections on the constituency that his father represented. He resigned his job, and has then entered politics and won the bye elections to become MLA.

On May 2, 2017, he revealed using a Facebook post that he is in a relationship with Thiruvananthapuram sub-collector Divya S. Iyer and they will be getting married by the end of June.
On June 30, 2017, he got married to Divya at a simple ceremony held at Kumarakovil, a temple at Thuckalay in Kanyakumari district becoming the first MLA-IAS couple in Kerala.

He was elected to Kerala Legislative Assembly in the 2015 By-elections from Aruvikkara constituency with 56,448 votes & margin of 10,128 Votes, defeating M. Vijayakumar (CPI-M) and O. Rajagopal (BJP).
