Köksal Ersayın Anatolian High School (Turkish: Köksal Ersayın Anadolu Lisesi) is one the major Anatolian high schools in Samsun, Turkey. It is located in the borough of İlkadım.

History

In 2003, 73 people gave to charity their lands to build a school, 12,900 square meters in size. Former mayor of Ilkadım Necmi AKKOYUNLU, and then Mayor of Ilkadım Erdoğan TOK, supported the building of the school. The school was built by the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality and charitable businessman Köksal Ersayın in 2009-10, and the school opened in 2010. The high school offers 24 classrooms with interactive boards, a computer classroom, science labs, a library and visual arts classroom, and sports and activity fields.

Becoming an educational institution without environmental risks, in touch with nature, preferred due to its service quality, examplary for people educated from and education provided, promoting team work, source of pride for the members, ever-growing, self-restorer and accepted as special by every student.

Mission

Training individuals with the logic of knowledge, conscious and future, learned humanitarian values, capable of converting knowledge to behaviour, targeting success in every field, adopting Atatürk's principles and reforms, gained knowledge and skill and breaking grounds.
