Just Dance Now is a video game in the Just Dance series developed by Ubisoft. It was released on September 25, 2014, available in both the App Store and Google Play. The trailer for the game was first revealed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014 on June 9, 2014. Without the purchase of V.I.P. an ad-supported version of the game is avaliable. A few months prior, a beta version was available in the previously mentioned stores for most parts of Europe.

Contents

Just Dance Now is intended for people who may not have access to a console to play the original game. The app version instead uses an internet connection to the Just Dance Now website through either a television, a computer, a laptop, an iPad or a Chromecast. The device acts as a controller, much like the Wiimote, the Nintendo Wii's main controller. Multiple players may connect simultaneously, and there is no limit to the number of players allowed. The app offers one random non-VIP song (which changes weekly) for free, with other songs in the library requiring a time-limit VIP pass which can be purchased through the app. Songs that are not VIP-exclusive can be also bought by using coins which can be earned by leveling up the song, as well as purchasing them through the app.

Just Dance Now is not to be confused with Just Dance 2015, Just Dance 2016, or Just Dance 2017 which are entirely separate games.

Track listing

Many new tracks and others from previous Just Dance titles appear on the app.

NOTE: All non-VIP songs (except ones that are free) can be unlocked with either a VIP pass or Mojo coins. All Just Dance 2016 songs required either a VIP pass or a purchasable song pack to access them, however most of them are now available for purchase with mojo coins.

  • A "*" indicates that the song is a cover version, not the original.
  • () parentheses in the Artist column indicate the cover artist or the actual credit of the song.
  • An "(F)" indicates that the song is free to access.
  • A "(7)" indicates that the app must have been played for seven days in a row to unlock the song prior to October 23, 2015.
  • An "(R)" indicates that the routine for the song has been remade, and will differ from the original design from its original debut.
  • A "(VIP)" indicates that a VIP pass is required to access the song.
  • A "♀*" or "♂*" indicates that the dancer is a returning dancer.
  • Alternate modes

The app provides exclusive alternate modes. Unlike in other Just Dance titles, these modes are available to play from the start. A VIP pass is required to access them, with the exception of Taste the Feeling, which used to be unlockable with Mojo coins and is still accessable for free to those who unlocked it during that period.
