JurusDiction (born Bryan Lawrence Steele Jurus on October 11, 1989) is remix/mash-up DJ and turntablist based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Career

Bryan Jurus was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he spent his early childhood. He attended Las Cruces High School. During his time there, he began to create and collect music. After high school, he attended the University of New Mexico, where he began to produce a series of mixtapes. The mixtapes generated hype on blogs, other internet mediums. This is often referred to the start of JurusDiction, the name coming from his last name Jurus. Shortly after, Rojo Apparel among several other sponsors started helping him with promotional and travel expenses.

In 2009, JurusDiction started production work on a series of tracks crossing the genres of club, juke, electro, and dutchie. Remixing tracks from, Diana Ross, Rob Roy, and others paved the way for his branching out to cities outside Albuquerque, including El Paso, Denver, and Phoenix. Today, he plays shows across the United States of America.
