Life

In the 1960s, Iantzi's parents, Angel Iantzi and Txelo Mitxelena, emigrated from Lesaka to The United States, looking for a better lifestyle. They were there about 23 years, thirteen years grazing and other ten years in a farm. Their three children were born in California and they lived in Dixon until they returned to Lesaka. There were two main reasons to return to Lesaka; their family was in Lesaka and the children had to go to school.

When Iantzi was seven years old, he could only speak English and Basque, that's what makes to Julian to be a sensitive person with the euskaltzale movement to spread the use of Basque.
